OUR PHYSICIAN
Dr. Gary Kline, our Chief Thoracic
Surgeon, specializes in thoracic surgery.  
Dr. Kline served as an Assistant Professor
of Cardiac Thoracic Surgery at the Albert
Einstein College of Medicine from 1995
through 2007.  Dr. Gary Kline was also on
staff at Long Island Jewish Medical Center
from 1995 and North Shore University
Hospital from 2002 through 2007.  Dr. Kline
now maintains surgical privileges at
Winthrop University Hospital.

Dr. Gary Kline received his post-graduate medical training in cardiovascular and
thoracic surgery at the University of Pennsylvania and his general surgical training
from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan.  He also completed a surgical
research fellowship at University of Pennsylvania and held an academic
appointment in the Department of Surgery at University of Pennsylvania.  Dr. Gary
Kline received his Medical Degree from Wayne State University. He obtained his
Bachelor of Science and Masters of Public Health degrees from the University of
Michigan.

Dr. Gary Kline is board certified by the American Board of Thoracic Surgery and
the American Board of Surgery.  He is a fellow of the American College of
Surgeons and the American College of Chest Physicians.  He is also a member of
the Society of Thoracic Surgeons, the American Medical Association, the
American Heart Association, and the New York State Society of Thoracic
Surgeons.

Dr. Gary Kline has been published in numerous peer-review publications and
abstracts. He has given numerous presentations throughout the country and
national meetings.

Dr. Gary Kline is passionate about medicine and takes his surgical responsibilities
very serious. You will find Dr. Gary Kline very personable and approachable.
